Botanical painting of an onion, often called the “common onion” (Allium cepa). I painted it by observing an onion from my kitchen cupboard and building up layers of watercolour to get the right colours and tones. Like the majority of my paintings, it is signed “Leone Annabella”. Dimensions: 10″x8″
